Seth Grant is experienced in video, film, and photography. His work has been published in magazines and newspapers around the globe. His vibrant images, captured on camera, have graced the pages of National Geographic Adventure, China Daily, Voyage, Kayak Session, Water's Edge, and the Columbus Ledger Enquirer. Seth's photography is currently being exhibited at The Columbus Museum in Columbus, Georgia.

Born into a family of photographers in 1979, Seth Grant is a third-generation photographer. His grandfather, the late Bob Garrett, was a master portrait photographer.

Growing up, Seth spent many days after school and endless summers absorbing photography at Garrett's Home of Photography, his family’s portrait studio in Columbus, Georgia. Seth started photographing all the textures of the world when he was 14 years old. In high school, he started shooting fashion photography. He used the elaborate sets he constructed on his family’s farm for fashion shoots and to make short films. After high school, Seth had the opportunity to shoot fashion photography in Miami; however, in 1998, Seth was awarded a photography scholarship to attend Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Seth went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in film and video from SCAD. During film school he personally raised over $7,000 to fund his travels to Australia to shoot a documentary on aboriginal music and culture. He later screened the film in his hometown’s planetarium. After graduating from SCAD in 2001, Seth moved to Los Angeles, where he worked on independent films and the hit sci-fi TV show “The X-Files.” Seth then moved to China for two years. He worked, traveled, and shot stills in China and Tibet for two years. His images of China were published in magazines and newspapers in China and the States. While he lived in China, he also learned to speak Mandarin.

After his life-changing experiences in China, Seth moved back home and was a photographer for the Ledger Enquirer for three years. Seth is now freelancing for magazines, newspapers, and working on a multimedia documentary. His background in film, video, and photography are in sync with the demands of the evolving media industry.

Seth is currently living in Pine Mountain, Georgia, with his lovely wife and their very talented daughter.
